The first pair I ordered had a faded line in the seat of the pants which looked to me like a rip. I returned them and the replacement had the same line. I thought it was maybe the style and since the fit was right, so I kept the second pair, also not wanting to deal with shipping another return.After wearing and washing these pants 2 times, there was a sizable >4" rip exactly where that faded line was. It isn't on a seam and since the material is stretchy I'm not confident sewing it will help.These pants were washed on delicate and line dried (no dryer), and I noticed the rip after washing. They were not abused or used roughly.I'm giving them 2 stars because before the rip the fit was very comfortable in spite of them running very large, but that is typical for this brand.I bought it fir my husband. It’s a little pricey, but he already own exact the same model, so we know the size and fitting. Everything is as expected, but the color is too dark. This is the only reason I’m returning it just to buy another pair of lighter color. Don’t understand why all colors vary in price so dramaticallyMy husband works in finance firm with a laid back Silicon Valley feel to it and primarily wears jeans to work. He is of average height but a muscular build and has the hardest time finding pants. We disovered Joe's at Nordstrom years ago but the classic fit in dark colors with no striations has been near impossible to find until we found these on Amazon! The fabric is almost the same as his old Joe's and the color and feel is appropriate for work. The inseam is long at 34 and as always he had them tailored with original seams.I tried these on in a store first, so I knew they were going to be a bit big in the waist at my regular size. I went down two sizes and they fit perfectly. These jeans are soft, flexible and have a bit of give in the material. I would not say they are stretchy, but your movements are not as restricted by rigidity as with most jeans. These cost upwards of $100 in stores, so I was thrilled to find them at a decent price on Amazon. Stylish, comfortable, and fit will; everything I am looking for in a pair of jeans. Love them!I had to return them. I’ve had Joe’s jeans for years and they were always true to size but these were way too small.these run slightly larger than I prefer.Great quality. My husband usually wears a 33 in jeans but I bought him a 32 in these. Color and quality hold up great. He is on the move all the time and works around heavy machinery and these hold up great!I’ve been a big fan of Joe’s jeans for about 5 years, it’s been all I buy, but I think it’s time to look elsewhere. My last three pair have worn out and torn in the upper thigh. This latest pair only lasted about 5 months, probably washed once a month in the rotation and always hung dried. Same size jeans each time, and I haven’t put on any weight, it’s not like I’m stretching them out. I just feel like the quality has declined, in the last year or two.
