The first pair I ordered had a faded line in the seat of the pants which looked to me like a rip. I returned them and the replacement had the same line. I thought it was maybe the style and since the fit was right, so I kept the second pair, also not wanting to deal with shipping another return.After wearing and washing these pants 2 times, there was a sizable >4" rip exactly where that faded line was. It isn't on a seam and since the material is stretchy I'm not confident sewing it will help.These pants were washed on delicate and line dried (no dryer), and I noticed the rip after washing. They were not abused or used roughly.I'm giving them 2 stars because before the rip the fit was very comfortable in spite of them running very large, but that is typical for this brand.
